From humble beginnings Arklow United Football Club's schoolboy/girl section has become one of the fastest growing across the entire Wicklow and District Schoolboy / Girl League, with year on year continual growth in our playing membership, and an increase in teams participating in WDSL competition. The Club is mindful of the economic times we are in and endeavours to provide a platform for all to play and enjoy their football. The gate is always open and new players are always welcome. We have a fabulous Arklow United Nippers Academy which goes from strength to strength on a weekly basis. The hour-long Saturday morning sessions are massively popular with Arklow's young boys and girls, all keen to take their first steps into proper organised football on United's superb astroturf facility, and now the Club have launched the new Nippers Academy kit which is effectively free to all who participate in the ten week programme. The kit which contains shorts, socks and a club crested shirt with Nippers emblazoned on the back costs just €20 - which is the price of ten weekly sessions in the Academy! The Nippers Academy kicks off at 11am every Saturday morning. Arklow United Football Club Schoolboys / Girls are delighted to create this Facebook page for all our members and all our friends - people associated with the Club in years gone by will hopefully drop in to see our progression from time to time, and new friends are always welcome. A question was aired from a parent at our recent AGM asking why we did not have a Facebook page - a reasonable question made in good faith in these times of immediacy with communication. Naas GAA is one of the largest GAA Club's in Ireland with over 70 teams competing in Football, Hurling, Camogie and Ladies Football. The Club was founded on 16th October 1887 in Naas Town Hall. National Shooting Grounds Ashbourne is a clay pigeon grounds on the outskirts of Ashbourne. It consists of 6 DTL layouts, 4 ABT layouts and 2 Olympic Trench layouts. Many Home Internationals have been held here in all of these disciplines, most recently 2012 ABT Home International. We are open for practice every Saturday morning from 11am-2pm.

Our mission is to develop the club to become the hub for bringing the community together and develop championship level boxers that in turn become local sport stars and role models to inspire other youngsters.

Old Portmarnock is a proud institution which strives toward cricketing excellence. Given the troubled history of the parish O.P.C.C. acts as a means through which local youths can overcome adversity and gain important life skills. In conjunction with cricket Ireland O.P.C.C. aims to provide access to all those wishing to participate. The standards set within the club are of the highest nature and command the respect of all members. At present there is a fresh blend of youth and experience dawning the famous highland emblem, and spirits are high for the coming season. While to date silverware has sadly evaded this proud institution the efforts of those platers who have proceeded our current crop act as a constant reminder 'to never fold at the crease'.
