A Modern Approach to Modern Music: The School of Music Improvisation is for people who want to learn how to play contemporary styles of music directly, whatever their current level and fully equip our students in the music genre of their choice.

Liz Leahy is opening Mulberry Childcare Centre in August. If you don't know me I live in Loughrea, have two small children, one grown husband and over 16 years experience of managing childcare centres. I have worked in childcare since I can remember and I've gained extensive experience and training from Bright Horizons in Dublin where I managed the Nutgrove, Eastpoint Business Park and Churchstown centres. I have achieved 'Centre of Excellence' the highest award possible for a childcare service numerous times. An opportunity presented itself to move home and setup the crèche in the Marine Institute in Oranmore for Bright Horizons and then I had my babies and stayed at home for a while :) But now its back to work! The School was founded in 1841 and is one of the oldest Engineering Schools in the English speaking world. The Baccalaureus in Arte Ingeniaria (BAI) degree was established in 1872 and early graduates played a major role in the development of local government services and infrastructure in 19th century Ireland, whilst others contributed as far afield as India, Australia, Africa and Japan. In addition to many famous engineers, the list of graduates includes landscape artist, Nathaniel Hone, and songwriter, Percy French. Well-known graduates of more recent vintage include Chris Horn of Iona Technologies and John McGuire of Trintech.
