We have been established since 2001 and have been teaching English as a foreign language continuosly since then to adults all year round, either part-time or full-time and we run very successful junior summer camps for children every summer. We are a small school and enjoy giving all our students personal and unique attention in their language learning. We make learning English as enjoyable as possible and use a communicative approach in all our lessons. Our classes are small; 10 is the maximum number in any of our junior summer courses and 6 is the maximum number for all other adult courses.

We are starting classes on Tuesday, 6th of October 2013. Classes are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. Besides general English courses, we also prepare students for the Cambridge Exams. Classes cost €130 for 4 weeks or €35 per week. The classes are very popular with au pairs and other foreigners living or working in the area. Students can start any evening but should telephone us first on 0402 94605 to organise the placement test. We also organise weekly social nights and occasional tours around Ireland visiting the main tourist attractions such as Galway and Cliffs of Moher, Belfast and the Giant’s Causeway, etc

Kenmare Adult Education Centre provides a Centre for learning in the Kenmare and surrounding areas. We aim to provide a friendly and supportive learning environment to participants on courses. Courses range from introductory level newcomers and up to FETAC level 6 for those looking for progression to higher education. The Centre offers a wide range of courses in many subjects, from short taster courses to those leading to FETAC certification, from level 3 to 6.
