This page was initially set up to promote an event I was running in aid of Crumlin childrens hospital. Since the event is long since finished and we raised nearly €18k I now just use the page to share stories from the hospital, the progress of our little girl Sadhbh or help others to promote events they might be running in aid of the hospital. My Daughter Sadhbh was diagnosed on Christmas day 2010 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome at 5 days old! She has had 2 open heart surgeries before 9 months and will have a third next year. We have seen and experienced 1st hand the outdated conditions in the peadiactric cardiac unit and cant wait to see the new unit built this year.. Considering the 'supposed' wealth this country has seen it is mind bending to see the conditions that tiny heart babies and families have been dealing with now for many years with little or no support from the rulers of the nation!
