Wonderful & historic seaside town on Ireland's south west coast

Comfortable, stylish house just 10 minutes walk from the lovely village of Durrus, which has 4 bars, a restaurant and a well stocked supermarket. The town of Bantry is 6 miles away, and has all amenities, including a hospital, banks, library and shopping. As you enter the double height hallway, there is a formal living room, with a striking local stone fireplace, and a bay window overlooking the garden Continuing down the hall, you enter an informal living area, with 3 windows which offer amazing views over Dunmanus Bay. This room also has a wonderful beamed ceiling arranged in cathedral style. The kitchen/dining room is approached from here through a reclaimed brick archway, and has a sliding patio door which leads to a patio area, also overlooking the bay - ideal for outdoor dining. Leading off the hall, there are 2 wide steps which lead to the 3 downstairs bedrooms, and large family bathroom, which has a luxurious free standing bath. Upstairs, there are two very large bedrooms - one of which is en suite, and a convenient storage room. The gardens are mature and well maintained, and extend to 3600m2 This is a comfortable family home at present, but would be a lovely retirement option, or holiday home - with excellent potential for renting out.
