Premier Physical Therapy is a clinic run by Richard McDonald. Richard studied physical therapy for over 4 years and graduated with a B.Sc degree in Applied health science and physical therapy, from The Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science, and is a member of the Irish Association of Physical Therapists. Richard treats all types of soft tissue injuries, including post operative injuries such as Knee ACL and shoulder dislocation, and is also certified in Dry Needling and Neuromuscular physical therapy. Other treatments include TENS therapy and muscle stimulation. A keen sportsman, Richard has experience of many sports injuries as well as day to day injuries both acute and chronic. He is currently looking after the St. Mary's College RFC Under 20's rugby squad in Templeogue Dublin. Richard is also particularly interested in keeping people active, by educating people through rehabilitation to ensure that injury does not re-occur. Or education in pre-habilitation exercises, as a pre-emptive measure against injury occurrence. Richard is also certified in Strength and Conditioning and Functional Movement Screening (FMS) from Setanta College where he also gained his Level 1 in Olympic Weightlifting. *Treatments* Treatments range from 40 mins to 1 hour after initial consultation, and are 50 euro per session. Your first treatment is half price and every 6th treatment in a row is free! Deep tissue massage treatments can be booked for 30 or 60 mins at a price of 25 and 50 euro respectively. Early morning and late evening bookings can be made, for those who wish to get a treatment before or after work, as well as normal business hours.
