Paul McEvoy: Paul is the principal dentist in the practice. He qualified in 1989 from Trinity College Dublin. Paul then spent several years working in the UK as a general dental practitioner. He took over the practice from his father when he returned to Ireland ten years ago. Since then he has expanded the practice, building on the excellent services provided for so many years by his father. Paul is a highly progressive dental practitioner who has implemented up-to-date technology throughout his business to maintain the highest standards of dental care. In addition to running a successful dental practice, Paul is actively involved in Irish dentistry. He is current president of the Dublin branch of the Irish Dental Association. He is a founding member of the Irish Faculty of Primary Dental Care and lectures on several aspects of clinical dentistry, most recently he was invited to lecture at the Annual Scientific Conference in the Royal College of Surgeons. Emer Morgan: Emer qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2001 after representing Ireland in the European Student Dental Association for three years. After graduation Emer worked for three years in general practice in the UK. She then spent six months in Zambia providing dental treatment in the most remote areas on a voluntary basis. After two years working in general practice in Australia, she returned home and joined our practice in August 2006. Emer is committed to continual post graduate education. She attends the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Miami, Florida on a yearly basis. She specialises in pain-free, relationship-based dentistry with the main focus on providing dentistry which creates long-lasting comfort, function and naturally beautiful teeth. Emer is also a member of the Irish Dental Association. Patrick Rooney: Patrick qualified with honours in 2006 for Trinity College Dublin and joined the practice having gained a place on the Vocational Training Programme for new graduates in Irish Dentistry. Patrick has since successfully gained membership of the Faculty of Dentistry in the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 2008 and is currently studying on a Masters Programme in Restorative Dentistry in the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London, travelling over each month. This programme allows Patrick to bring new, advanced techniques and knowledge in treating the more complicated dental problems that may occur in a comfortable and pleasant manner. Patrick is a member of the Irish Dental Association. Clodagh O'Dowd: Clodagh graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2001 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene. She is a registered Dental Hygienist with the Irish Dental Council. She has worked with Paul McEvoy and Associates since 2001.
