Skibbereen Sports Centre is a community run project based in the Gortnaclohy area of Skibbereen at the top of town. We have a fully equipped gym, a large main hall, an exercise area and four outdoor tennis courts. Membership is €70 per year but there are concessions for students, unemployed and part time workers and those of you that are now retired. there is a charge of just €2 per gym visit and there is more information on our website.

Within the grounds, presntly there is two tennis courts, soccer pitch, long jump, sprint track, and throwing cage. Construction is under way on the 400m flood light running track, and the lighting for the tennis. An all weather pitch is next on the plan and is hoped it will be completed within the next 6 months. Toilets and changing facilities will be built in the future also.
