Greystones Sailing Club offers exciting and enjoyable dinghy racing for all ages and abilities in a variety of dinghy classes. Over the years, it's sailors have competed successfully in many open events at both national and international levels. The Club itself has also hosted several major sailing events including National and International Championships. With the new harbour facilities currently under construction in Greystones, the Club now looks forward to expanding our activities and welcoming keel boat members when the facilities are in place.

Classes begin on Thursday April 11th from 5-6pm in the Scout Den, Market Green, Balbriggan, Co Dublin. Ages 3+ welcome. €5 per class.

The Killarney adventure race is an adrenalin packed adventure race taking place in the adventure capital of Ireland, Killarney, Co. Kerry on the 4th of October 2014. Starting at the foothills of Irelands Highest Mountain range the Mc Gillcuddy Reeks, the route encompasses the Gap of Dunloe, the black valley, ring of Kerry, Molls Gap, Torc waterfall, Lakes of Killarney, Devils punch bowl, Mangerton Mountain and Muckross House. We prize ourselves on encouraging surfers of every level to get into the water, have fun and make friends. We cater for surfers of all abilites, from complete beginners to those competing at national level. We offer regular day trips to Strandhill and Fanore, where beginners can learn to surf with Irish Surfing Association qualified instructors. Our weekend trips to Achill Island, Lahinch, Bundoran and Sligo offer beginners and chargers alike a chance to surf in new places, make new friends, and party till dawn! Lessons, competitions, games and shenanigans... The club provides boards and suits, which can be borrowed from our equipment officer. In order to take out Club gear, you must have taken lessons with an ISA qualified instructor, and be surfing with a competent surfer.
