Galway Businesses and Marketers, We have started an Online Marketing Group for Galway. This is just a place to share best practices, share knowledge and allow small businesses to make the most out of free online tools. This is a not for profit group set up by Maricka, an X- Googler who moved back to Galway in 2011 and was very keen to keep up to date with local online marketing. We now have over 10 volunteers, taking care of areas including; PR, Event Planning, recruiting guest speakers and sponsorship, content planning and ,uch much more. Due to the lack of facilities in Ashbourne Co. Meath, concerned parents have come together to set a change in motion. Our first priority is Ashbourne Playground. This is currently the only free outdoor amenity for children in Ashbourne and as we have seen recently, it has crumbled under the pressure of population growth. The playground no longer serves a purpose to our children and has also become a health and safety issue. A new playground committee fronted by the parents of Ashbourne will work together with the local council, Gardai and area representatives to achieve common goals, to secure a cleaner, safer place for our children to play.
