Keel Catering was established in 2007 by chef and owner Raychel O’Keeffe based in South West Mayo region of Ballinrobe in Ireland. Raychel has over 17 years of practical cooking experience, and formal professional chef training from Hotel & Culinary School Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT), and completed further culinary studies at Ballymaloe, The Cooks Academy, and the Organic Centre. Keel Catering have handpicked a kitchen and service team with worldwide experience to cater for your needs that have vast experience. Raychel also is a specialist in PR and Event Management and offers a one stop shop to organise charity events, entertainment gatherings, transport, accommodation, photographer or press publications with a portfolio of public and private events. Keel Catering typically caters for parties, weddings, communions, confirmations, christenings, kids birthday parties, anniversaries, retirements, corporate events and ceremonies.

Marguerite's was established in 1970 by Margaret & Richard Condon, parents of the present owners. Margaret's father Michael (Ganzy) Murphy was one of the old traditional bread bakers, trading from the early 1900's in Maiden Street, Newcastle West. The business closed in the 1960's but the tradition was rekindled in 1970 when Margaret, his daughter, along with her husband Michael started the present business "Marguerite's The business was founded on the principles of using the finest ingredients with products baked fresh daily. Our products are not mass-produced, but require a high level of skill and craft to create confectionery of such high standard. Today Marguerite's consists of a purpose built bakery supplying our own retail outlet in Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale and Killarney. The Bakery supplies wholesale to retail and the catering trade. The business includes a Coffee Shop/Restaurant in both Newcastle West and Killarney. The restaurant in Killarney trades as "Scéal Eile".
