The Donabate Academy of Music is a centre of musical excellence in North County Dublin. Located in Scoil Phádraic Cailíní we provide high quality music tuition to students of all abilities.

The playschool is 2 miles from the villages of Aughrim and Annacurra (5 minute drive). The facility is based on a family farm which allows us to promote outdoor activities all year round. I have been playing Guitar for over forty years, and during that time I have played in many Bands both in England and Ireland. I have played many different styles of music, form Punk to Soul, from Folk to Rock, from Blues to Jazz, so I am happy teaching in any of these genres. Apart from Guitar, I also teach Music Theory and Music Notation for guitar also, Leaving Cert and Junior Cert Music as an extra subject. I am happy to say, that one of my Students who began music for the first time, with me, two years ago, has recently passed his Audition, and has been accepted into W.I.T ,Waterford to study for a masters degree in Jazz and Modern Music. I am registered with RGT Guitar tutors, and I have a level 6 Fetac certificate in teaching.
