Greystones and its environs is home to an impressive number of top class artists, photographers and crafters, all diverse and all enjoying making a living from their creative work. The Greystones Virtual Arts Centre was set up in January 2013 to pull together the creative strands of this tapestry and to be a central hub for local crafters and artists to share their work. Excitingly now over forty of these people are exhibiting together on one day in one place. Greystones Creation Station is the coming together of all that local creative, artistic and artisan talent into a splendid showcase in the GAA on the 1st December 2013. On that day you will have the opportunity to meet and buy first hand from the creators themselves. It will be a day for all the family with free entry, ample car parking, entertainment, food, and unique and original arts and crafts.The number and variety of sellers there will make it one of the biggest arts and crafts fairs of its kind in the county. Without a doubt it is going to be a truly great event and one not to miss so make a note in your diary to be in the Greystones GAA club on September 8th. Proceeds from the organizing of the event are going to Greystones Cancer Support Group, a cause Greystones Creation Station is happy to support. We’d love to see you there.

Kinsale Pottery and Arts Centre provides arts and crafts courses for adults and children, specialising in pottery, art, drawing and painting, film animation, glass fusing and stained glass, jewellery-making, bronze casting, creative writing, drama, painting and mosaic-making. We run weekly morning and evening classes, weekend breaks, summer schools and tailor-made workshops for corporate groups and private parties. We can accommodate up to 30 people in one class and up to 50 in a group, or as few as two or three at a time. All our courses suit beginners, enthusiasts and professionals, using a wide range of facilities and techniques. The pottery includes electric and raku kilns, stoneware and earthenware clays, and we teach throwing, hand-building and all varieties of glazing.
