Kilkenny Stars Basketball was founded in 2011. The club was formally know as Club Kilkenny. It is the aim of the club to provide children and young adults the opportunity to learn and develop basketball skills.To enable them to excel to their best potential in a positive and challenging environment. To help them reach their potential with thoughtful and skilful learning strategies, and to empower them to continuously improve and to develop a lifelong commitment to basketball, sports, fitness and healthy living.
The basketball season runs from September to May. Kilkenny Stars train at two locations. U8, U10 and U12 girls & boys at The Watershed. All older groups train at Kilkenny College.
Registration for the 2011/2012 season will take place in early September. Please check our website in July/Aug for details.
