Rathgarogue Cushinstown Ladies football and Camogie Club

Rathgarogue Cushinstown, New Ross ,
Our present club was formed in 2005 by an innovative group of parents that wished to introduce camogie to the girls of the parish, some of these parents are still involved in the club. They commenced with an u12 team and gradually numbers increased, helped immensely by the Co. Senior team winning the All-Ireland in 2007. By 2010, we had an u10, u12, u14, u16, minor and junior B team. In 2011, our junior girls brought silver home to our club and parish by winning the Novice Championship on October 15th last. At our recent AGM we had a total of 151 members registered to the club.

Midleton Cycling & Triathlon Club

Midleton Cycling & Triathlon Club

Midleton Cycling & Triathlon Club was formed in 2009 replacing Midleton cycling club which was originally formed in 1968 as part of Midleton Athletic Club. The club ethos is to get people on their bikes, in the water & on the road. Midleton is an ideal training location for both cyclists & Tri-athletes with flat easy Terrain and rolling Hills within a short distance of the town. There are many exceptional locations in the Midleton/East Cork area to facilitate all types of training for both disciplines. The main cycle event that was promoted by the club was the annual Stephen Roche Tour de Cure sportif, which attracted close to 1500 participants in 2010 and is hoped to grow in 2011. Midleton Cycling & Triathlon Club has an active & vibrant cycle sportif section where all fitness levels are catered for. This is stress free cycling with a fun competitive streak. Everyone is welcome to come along for a spin.
