The Maynooth Kilcock Lions Club was formed in 1981 as the 77th Lions Club in Ireland. Lions International presented the Charter to the then President Mr. Jack Mc Ilhenney in Newbridge in 1981.

Maynooth Kilcock Lions club generally has twenty to thirty members and they are representative of a cross-section of the community within which they serve.
Lions are men and women who give of their time voluntarily to humanitarian causes in their Local, National and Global communities.
