Coolmore Ireland Farm:
Right after the Coolmore obsession with horses comes the Coolmore obsession with the land they're raised on. That's why Coolmore is here, in the heart of the Golden Vale, on some of the finest land in Ireland.
The Magnier family have been raising horses since the mid 19th century, and this is Coolmore's headquarters established by John Magnier, Robert Sangster and the legendary figure of M.V. O'Brien, rated, and not by us, as the greatest trainer in Ireland and England of the 20th Century.
Around here, people and horses combine to make something enduring. History.
The legendary sire Sadler’s Wells also stood in Coolmore and died in 2011 at the age of 30. In 2004, Sadler’s Wells became Champion Sire for a remarkable 14th time, smashing Highflyer’s record which was set way back in 1798. But Sadler’s Wells is just one of the many reasons why Coolmore Ireland, is known as the Home of Champions. Reigning Champion Sire Galileo, proven Group 1 sires like Montjeu, Danehill Dancer, Rock of Gibraltar, High Chaparral and Strategic Prince and exciting young sires like Duke of Marmalade, Mastercraftsman, Pour Moi and Canford Cliffs are others.

Coolmore America Farm:
When people talk about the bluegrass, what they mean is our home in Kentucky, Ashford Stud. Just like our farm in Ireland is usually referred to as the Home of Champions, Ashford is home to the best young sires in America. Land management skills developed in Ireland's Golden Vale serve us well here, too and the attitude travels equally well. It's this simple. Nothing is done until it's done as well as it possibly can be.

Coolmore Australia Farm:
We choose our land in Australia just as carefully as we do everywhere else. And we found the best of it in the Hunter Valley. We also found that it contained its own vineyard, and one day we might just bottle our own. In the meantime, we’re producing winners.
We’ve raised or sold more than 100 stakes winners since Danehill put us on the southern map and then Encosta de Lago took up where he left off. They’re just two of the reasons why this is a special place, and you'll also be welcome, anytime, at our office in Sydney.
