Greystones Family Resource Centre runs community development and family support programmes in the wider Greystones area in Co. Wicklow. We work with the community to provide senior’s groups, women’s groups, youth clubs, family days, summer projects, arts & crafts for children, Rainbows, and a wide range of community education classes, including art, computers, gardening, pilates and sewing. Our family support services include running a low cost professional counselling service. We also provide one-to-one confidential information and support on a number of different issues, such as, social welfare rights and entitlements, housing rights and entitlements, accessing education and training domestic violence, elder abuse, bereavement, mental health, parenting issues, and substance abuse and addiction.

Affiliated with Baseball Ireland, the National Governing Body for baseball, Greystones Mariners Baseball Club is a voluntary organisation and a recognised tax-exempt sports club in the Republic of Ireland.

The Junior Rugby Section of Greystones RFC is an integral part of the Club. It is a vibrant and successful section with a history of competing at the highest level of Junior Rugby and winning trophies in their respective league and cup competitions. The Junior Section provides an important link for players coming up from the Youth Section of the Club to integrate into the adult arena of rugby life. It has also provided many players to the Senior Team over the years who have come up from the Youth Section and improved their game learning from the more experienced players that now enjoy the more social and fun side of the game. Training Training is currently on Thursday evenings starting at 7:30. Goals This Season we aim to be competitive in all leagues and cups and a return to the trophy winning ways that we are used to. Tours The Junior Section enjoys a great tradition of rugby tours and have travelled far and wide over the years. Tours have mainly been to other clubs around the country but in recent times have ventured to rugby competitions in Spain on 3 separate occasions. Last season saw a well organised tour to Westport that all who travelled enjoyed immensely. Another tour is being planned for the end of this season and fundraising events will be scheduled throughout the year and any support is most gratefully appreciated.

Parnell Park is a GAA stadium in Donnycarney, Dublin, Ireland with a capacity of about 11,500. It is the home of the Dublin GAA hurling, football, camogie and ladies' football teams at all levels of competition. Parnell Park is nicknamed The Nell.The ground is used by Dublin's inter-county teams mainly during home National Football League matches and as a training ground, with major NFL and All-Ireland Championship games normally played in Croke Park. However, All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, Railway Cup, Dublin county championships and other competitions also take place in Parnell Park every year.Parnell Park also serves as the headquarters of the Dublin County Board.DesignParnell Park follows the standard four-sided design of most stadiums. The ground has a main stand on the north side of the pitch which can seat about 2,800. The main stand is covered and has one tier. The stand includes facilities and shops under the stand.The rest of the ground is terraced with the majority of it covered, although some of the main terrace on the south side is not covered. The terrace on the west side of the ground is known as the Church end due to it being near Donnycarney Church. The terraces in Parnell are all one tier and the facilities and shops are at the rear or the side depending on which terrace you are in. The terraces in Parnell Park can hold about 8,000.
