The Douglas Hyde Gallery, founded in 1978, is an independent organization co-funded by Trinity College and the Arts Council. Our exhibition programme includes shows by major contemporary international artists as well as by emerging Irish artists, and we occasionally hold exhibitions of ethnographic and craft artifacts. The Douglas Hyde Gallery publishes books and catalogues that are known and distributed all over the world, and from time to time we host musical events. All are welcome, admission free.

Several professionals helped develop FitChoice, including experts from the fields of nutrition, fitness, and psychology. Dr. Andrea Vazzana is a licensed clinical psychologist with an expertise in weight management. Previously, she was a research clinician focusing on weight issues at New York University’s Institute for Prevention Science. For FitChoice: Dr. Vazzana wrote the "Find Your Path" self-assessment, with questions based on current weight-management research. In addition, she provided behavior-modification tips to help FitChoice users return to instinctive eating practices and eat more mindfully. Dr. Jason Slack has a Ph.D. in exercise and sport science, with an emphasis in exercise physiology. He’s a full-time professor at Utah Valley University, where he currently chairs the department of exercise science and outdoor recreation. For FitChoice: Dr. Slack provided fitness tips, goals, and exercise routines designed to be reasonable and realistic for each individual, with the goal of helping users integrate more physical activity into their daily lives. Ms. Joy Musselman is a certified, registered dietician, and she loves helping people manage their weight. She earned her bachelor of science degree in nutrition and food science, with an emphasis in dietetics. For FitChoice: Ms. Musselman provided diet and nutrition tips and meal plans for each comfort level, along with recipes. As she put together the FitChoice menus, she used a way of eating that helps users feel full while consuming fewer calories.
