Welcome to The Dublin Taxi Drivers Special Childrens Outing Facebook page. The event was founded in 1960. The aim of the event is to treat children with special needs to a fun day out in our capital city. The event takes place on the second Tuesday of September every year. Starting with a taxi convoy from Dublin city centre through the streets of the city to Leopardstown Racecourse. The event has the support of Dublin City Council, An Garda Siochana and of course the pride of Dublin, our taxi drivers.

Active Method Ireland was opened in June 2011. It provides shiatsu or kappo (seitai) treatments at the Dublin Holistic Centre on Saturdays and Appletree Health and Wellness on Thursday afternoons. Treatments at other times can be arranged at these two locations, subject to room availability. A mobile service to your home or workplace in the south Dublin area is also available.
