The Cliffs of Moher start 250 meters from the door step, and the world famous Burren lunar landscape starts at Doolin Pier. Doolin Cave with the longest stalactite in the Northern hemisphere is 2.5 miles away.
For those who like outdoor activities, Doolin is an ideal location for Caving, Hill Walking (Burren Way), Experienced Surfers, Fishing, SCUBA diving to name but a few activities. For those who wish to explore the landscape is dotted with medival castles, metalithic tombs (some older than the Pyrmaids!), Flora from the Artic and the Alps, to name but a few hidden gems.
