ELP Ireland
ELP Ireland is a small Irish family-run business which specialises in organising educational English programmes for non-native speakers of English. ELP is based in Cork and is run by Richie and Claire, who spent many years teaching English in Barcelona.
ELP Ireland offers several English Programmes including a Secondary School (High School) Programme and various Summer Programmes. ELP’s programmes are mainly based in West Cork, one of the most beautiful parts of the country in the south of Ireland, which is serviced by Cork International Airport.
Richie & Claire are both qualified TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teachers, who have a wealth of experience in dealing with teenagers and young people, and are dedicated to providing a professional service and making the student’s experience as enjoyable as possible.
Having lived in Barcelona, Richie & Claire know what it’s like to move to another country and adapt to a new culture and language, so they will be there to help students adapt to their new surroundings as quickly as possible.
What’s more, during their time in Barcelona, Richie & Claire successfully prepared many students for Cambridge Exams (FCE, CAE & CPE) and were also trained oral examiners for these exams, so this is another area where they can help students.
