Ireland’s biggest selling regional newspaper, The Kerryman was first published in 1904 and since then has provided the people of Kerry with unrivalled news and sports reporting. Save for a brief interruption when the Black and Tans destroyed the paper’s presses during the War of Independence, The Kerryman has always been on hand to break the news and report the most important events of the day.
Tralee lies on the South West Coast of Ireland in a valley gently sloping westwards to the Atlantic Ocean, between Slieve Mish and Stacks Mountains.
The route of the marathon and half marathon will showcase the culture, heritage and beautiful landscape that Tralee and the surrounding area has to offer.
Awards and prizes will be presented to the race winners and those who win in specific race categories. There will also be prizes for the best dressed St.Patrick runners.
