This innovative and exciting food event will be held within the historic grounds of Cloughjordan House on the 25th June 2011. Totally Tipperary is open to everyone. Food Producers, Food writers, Food bloggers and Food lovers are converging to taste the best of what Tipperary has to offer. As well as eating and drinking, there will also be an opportunity to learn about food and where it comes from. Growing, cooking and making food will all feature prominently at this very innovative food festival. Tastings, talks, tours, cookery, production demonstrations and a host of delectable food stalls are to be savoured at Totally Tipperary. There will also be children's and evening entertainment which will engage both the mind and body at Totally Tipperary. All manner of tents, yurts and marquees will fill the open garden spaces within this historic old house.

On June Bank holiday weekend, music, art and tradition will flow through the streets of Carrick-On-Suir yet again as The Clancy Brothers Music and Arts festival takes place. The festival honours the musical legacy of the influential Irish folk music group of the 1960s, ‘The Clancy Brothers’ whose home town was Carrick-On-Suir and who are credited with popularising Irish traditional music in the United States. The brothers recorded dozens of albums together as, ‘The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem’. They were a primary influence on a young Bob Dylan and on many other emerging artists and their legacy is celebrated at their hometown annual festival. Now in its 6th year The Clancy Brothers Music and Arts Festival celebrates local and international talent each year. Past festivals have included headline perfomances from the likes of Liam Clancy, The High Kings, Frankie Gavin and De Dannan, Paul Brady, Sharon Shannon, Mundy, Paddy Casey, John Spillane among numerous others. The Festival embraces the local community and showcases the local exceptional talent in performing, visual & multi-disciplinary arts. As well as a variety of fun and entertaining ticketed events, there are also amazing free family fun days & extraordinary sporting events. Carrick-on-Suir boasts so much talent for a small community and The Clancy Festival is the perfect platform from which to showcase local talent as well as national and internationl artists. The festival is run completely on a volunteer basis.
