Boland's Bar and Fishing Tackle
A family run country pub situated in a small rural town in the West of Ireland. The pub has been in the family for two generations, we also sell fishing tackle and are always available to give advice to the discerning angler.
Customers can enjoy the floral beer garden situated to the rear of the pub and listen to the chirping of the varied birds in the aviary. If it gets too cold they can enjoy the comfort of an open turf fire.
Local Attractions:
We are situated three miles from the river Moy which is famous for salmon and trout. There is a golf course on the outskirts of the town, an athletic track, a handball alley, a GAA pitch and horse riding facilities. There are some great walks around the town. You can travel through the woods, or round the park away from the traffic.
Swinford hosts a street festival "Siamsa Staide" on the August Bank Holiday weekend and an agricultural show also in the month of August.
