We first opened our doors at Maltings Tutorial College to our first cohort of students in 1992. Since then we have provided them with high quality classes, tuition, advice and guidance as they embark on their educational journey. It is our aim to facilitate all our students learning so that they are empowered to maximise their learning and to reach their own potential in whatever subject areas they decide to study. We pride ourselves in being student focused with an emphasis placed on helping each individual student to achieve their potential. All our revision and tutorial classes are delivered by highly motivated, knowledgeable and innovative teachers, who all share in the student centred vision of Maltings Tutorial College. We welcome students of all abilities to Maltings Tutorial College because we believe that every student can develop and improve his/her knowledge, skills and abilities regardless of ability. Maltings Tutorial College is located in the Maltings, Coote street, a central location in Portlaoise, easily accessible and across the road from the Railway Station in Portlaoise . The learning environment offers warm, bright classrooms, small class sizes, separate supervised study spaces and an eating area. We also make a care guidance service available to all our students. Our focus is to ensure that each student achieves their potential, whether they select one, two or any other number of subjects per term. We believe in making our students’ learning positive, interesting and relevant to their lives. Our courses are structured for both the Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate examinations, and we cater for Ordinary and Higher Level in all subject areas. Maltings Training is accredited by FETAC, University of Limerick, The American Council on Exercise and ITEC. Maltings Training is a registered Training Company with FAS.
