After ten years experience in a top Galway salon I craved a project of my own so in Jan 2013 I set up my own on-location services for all events where hair matters! Most my time is spent with brides, creating their perfect look, but I also do fashion shows, hen parites, family occasions, formal evening looks, tv and theatre!

Inspired by his training in Germany, James McGeough returned to the family butchery and began handcrafting salamis and sausages. Soon he began making a more exciting range, with modern interpretations of the ancient crafts of curing and smoking meats. McGeough also began winning awards – from the Irish Craft Butchers for his specialty meats and from the Irish Food Writer’s Guild for his air-dried Connemara hill lamb.

Guild Commended Picture Framer Peter Conneely has over 25 years experience in the bespoke picture framing trade. At his Oughterard premises, the West Shore Studio, original paintings and photographs, baby shoes and football shirts, prints and memorabilia are framed to the highest standard. All work is framed using acid free mountboard and barrier board. Peter also specialises in traditional washline mounts. Using watercolours and inks these mounts are finished by hand. He also hand finishes a range of picture frame mouldings, from waxing effects to painted finishes.
