Slang.ie is proud to release The Premier Dictionary of Tipperary Slang, the fifth instalment in a series of slang dictionaries which includes hugely popular Deise Dictionary of Waterford Slang, The Model Dictionary of Wexford Slang and For Focal Sake – A 32 County Guide to Irish Slang. Not only did Tipp win the coveted Liam McCarthy in 2010, they were also table toppers on the Slang.ie leaderboard for the majority of 2010 which is why Martin Croke, Mullinahone has and Cian Foley, Waterford founder of slang.ie, teamed up to create this book. The book contains hundreds of carefully selected entries compiled from multiple sources including the authors’ and their friends’ own experiences, and also the Tipperary public’s submissions to slang.ie
