This multi purpose hall is capable of hosting many and varied community events and performances. It can accommodate circa 400 people seated (600 standing) in the main hall and has a foyer with kitchen and coffee shop facilities as well as public toilets. The Foyer is also suitable as a smaller exhibition space and has a rail/cable system for hanging artwork. The two Dressing rooms/shower areas are multipurpose capable of serving the activities both in the Theatre and adjacent sports facilities.
Matchmaking is one of Ireland's oldest traditions and, for the last couple of hundred years, a good deal of it has taken place in Lisdoonvarna during September and early October.
