Situated in the North-West of the Inishowen Peninsula, Co Donegal, is the beautiful Glenevin Waterfall Park. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, you will find that our four walking trails offer a wide range of opportunities for walkers of all levels of fitness and experience. Walk One - Glenevin Waterfall Walk - Easy- 2 kms - Height Gain 50 meters Starting at the car park for the waterfall this walk follows a well maintained gravel path with picnic areas along the route. Mature deciduous woodland overhang the path looking up to the backdrop of the rugged high ground of Raghtin Mor Walk Two - Marmore to Straid Trek - Moderate - 5.7 kms - Height Gain 220 meters Starting at Mamore Gap car park. This is a linear walk through some of Inishowens finest scenery. This walk offers great walking with exceptional panoramic views of Lough Swilly, North Donegal, Tory Island and North Inishowen. Walk Three - Urris Lakes Loop - Strenuous - 6.5 kms = Height Gain 290 meters For those seeking a challenging but hugely rewarding hike through remote country, this walk offers it all. Starting at the wonderfully atmospheric Lenan Strand, the route follows a mix of bog road, ancient cart tracks and open country. Highlights include panoramic scenery and hidden lakes. Walk Four - Butlers Glen Loop - Strenuous - 10.5 kms - Height Gain 220 meters Starting at the car park in Mamore Gap this walk is for the fit and experienced. The route takes the walker into the heart of Inishowens finest hills. The walk offers and unfolding backdrop of the rugged coastal scenery of North Donegal with panoramic views in all directions.
