The Vault The “Vault” Youth Project is based at Burrin St and is funded by the Young People’s Facilities and Services Fund through Co. Carlow V.E.C. This is a Youth Centre that has many services available to young people of secondary school age including a Drop-In facility, Comhairle Na nÓg and music programmes. The Vault is a dedicated safe space for young people to engage in and act as an alternative to substance misuse. Carlow County Development Partnership Ltd (CCDP) was formed when CANDO Community Partnership and Carlow LEADER Rural Development Company amalgamated in 2008. Open Door CDP merged with CCDP in 2011. CCDP offers a range of supports to individuals, enterprises and communities throughout Carlow town and county. CCDP also have an outreach office located at 165 The Laurels, Tullow Road, Carlow where computer facilities are available free of charge (by appointment).

Membership of the Carlow Sugarcraft Guild is open to anyone with an interst in sugarcraft and cake decorating, at all levels from complete novice to experienced professional. At our regular monthly meetings you will have the opportunity to meet and socialise with other members, see demonstrations of various skills and techniques and take part in events and workshops arranged by the guild. The Carlow Sugarcraft Guild charges an annual membership fee and there is also a small admission fee to each meeting. These fees are used to cover cost of venue hire, demonstrators expenses, overheads etc. We also hope to build a library of specialist books and dvds which will be available for members to hire.
