Waterworld Bundoran
Waterworld Bundoran is Ireland's Premiere Indoor Aqua Adventure Playground and is now in its 22nd year of operations. In addition to its existing features - wave pool with wave machine, rapids and children's water features, Slide Pool with 3 flumes; Tornado, Twister and Whizzer ~ fastest water slide in Ireland, this year 5 more features were added to the "family". In 2013, visitors to Waterworld can also experience the Pirate Galleon Ship, 3 lane multislide, toddler pool, gravity speed slide and aqua kids slide!!
Parents can also chill out and relax in the Bundoran Seaweed Baths and enjoy fresh seaweed and sea water pumped in from the nearby Atlantic Ocean.
Waterworld also provides top class lifesaving training for both pool lifeguards through the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Training Qualification and would-be lifeguards through their Rookie Lifeguard programme which teaches kids from 8-12 years old lifesaving techniques. Other training courses offered on site include Occupational First Aid and the National Swimming and Spa Pool Operators Certificate. Waterworld is also an IQL Training Centre for Lifeguards.
