AIT Business School
The Business School at AIT consists of two departments: Business Studies; Accounting and Business Computing. The courses offered by the School cover a wide range of areas from accountancy to management, equine studies to computing, and much more. You will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge, develop skills and cultivate attitudes which will help you to fulfil your potential and maximise your career prospects. New programmes are developed on a regular basis, and recent additions to the range of courses on offer include the Bachelor of Business and Law (Hons), the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Law, and the Higher Certificate in Business with Music and Instrument Technology.
The theoretical and practical content of each course is reviewed regularly to ensure that graduates are prepared for the challenges and opportunities to be expected in a variety of careers at appropriate levels. The ‘ladder’ system of qualifications allows you to progress from higher certificate through to honours Bachelor degree, and on to postgraduate studies.
The learning process within the Business School takes place in an environment where you have access to modern resources, expert staff knowledge, links with employers and the latest technology. Opportunities exist to study at partner institutions overseas – either on a short-term or a long-term basis – which can add to your educational experience at AIT. The enrolment of international students on courses within the School also enhances the learning environment. Many of our graduates have become very successful on the national and international stage. We are very proud of their achievements and successes.
If you wish to learn more about our programmes of study and related career opportunities, please contact any member of the staff for assistance. You are most welcome to visit the campus; a meeting can be arranged as part of the AIT’s overall focus on student care. Whether you are joining third-level education straight from the Leaving Certificate or as a mature student, the scope for progress is unlimited, provided aptitude and ambition are matched with commitment and effort. The staff of the Business School wish you every success and will be honoured to facilitate your progress.
