With an estimated 5 billion people to be living in cities around the world by 2030. We need to think of new ways to build on the current infrastructure or to improve new infrastructure going forward. Cities will need to be thought as of as living bodies that like us need constant monitoring and looking after. We will have to allow for more Interaction with cities and look at ways of saving money and creating smart ecosystems in which to live and work, from more open data to Urban agriculture from smarter public transport networks that are more open to smarter uses of water preservation and consumption. Nerd Herd is a company that hopes to build and work on new prototypes for Smart Cities, Towns, and Farms. We are looking to start building the Hardware to go along with the new Software that goes along with the cities of tomorrow, from sensor networks for monitoring air pollution, noise pollution and water pollution to smart kiosk for tourism. We hope to build the new technology for old cities.
