Paddy's Day Party

Paddy's Day Party

38/39 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin ,
Paddys Day Party is run by the two Clares, who look exactly like the two ladies on our logo! While we still live in the hussle and bussle of Dublin's fair city, a lot of our friends have left Ireland and are now living abroad in such far flung places as Sydney, Singapore, LA and Japan. Our friends have told us how difficult it is to find Irish memorablia abroad, particularly around st. Patrick's Day and for major Irish sporting events such as the Six Nations or the Euros. And so after many years of posting party gear abroad to our friends, we setup our Paddys Day Party website. We wanted to make it easy for people to get their hands on all of the party gear needed to dress up, have a party and celebrate being Irish. We ship all over the world, particularly to the many Irish people who have emigrated and hope that you find everything you need on our website. We hope you enjoy shopping here and drop us a line if you would like us to source anything specific.

Irelands' culture has spread around the globe. Irish music, for example, is being played today in places as far away from Ireland as Tokyo and Berlin! And most cities around the world will have an Irish pub. We hope to inspire your interest in the whole of Irish culture such as music and dance, cooking, films, literature, folklore and a whole lot more! Our culture is very rich both in the traditional, as well as in the modern, in the present day. For example, you will find a section on Irish traditional music that will show you just how alive Ireland is with traditional music, even in this day and age.

Limerick's life

Limerick's life

The Limerick’s Life website was created in an effort to record the local history of Limerick City. Whether you’re a citizen, visitor, tourist or enthusiast you may have at one point or another wondered about the lives of the common men and women who lived and died in Limerick. What are the legacies of the fisherman, butchers, factory workers, builders, housewives, children, students and miscreants? Through extensive research, both on-foot and on-line, we have compiled historical articles that attempt to answer these questions. With these articles, we endeavour to educate and entertain. You may have wondered about the history of the old buildings, churches, graveyards, cathedrals and streets you have heard of, walked past, tread upon or dreamt about on a daily basis. What are the stories of these places; who built them, owned them, maintained them? Have you ever questioned how any of these may have changed over the centuries? Throughout the pages of the this website you will find interesting stories, historic letters, in-depth articles, as well as old and new photographs and maps. These things and more are being utilised in an attempt to share some of many hidden gems located in Limerick. We hope this website will bring you closer to some of the forgotten lives and present a unique perspective of the history of this great city. Our motto has always been: Read, Tell, And Remember.
