There is a wide range of instruments on offer each with a dedicated music teacher, highly qualified in their field. There are five teachers, all with a minimum Bachelor of Music Degree from University College Cork. All teachers are active musicians with several years experience playing in a variety of professional groups/bands. We provide individual lessons or group lessons on your chosen instrument once a week at an agreed time. Students can undertake exams with a variety of accredited exam bodies including Royal Irish Academy of Music and Rock school London. We cater for classical music and pop and rock music depending on what the student wants to work towards. With the Rock School exams there is an opportunity to participate in band performances on drums, guitar, bass guitar, piano and vocals. There is no pre requisite for students to undertake exams, you can simply learn for the sheer enjoyment. Lessons will take place in the Carrigaline Educate Together National School. This is a safe and secure brand new school with state of the art facilities with all instruments available for teaching in the lessons rooms. There is plenty of parking on site.

Douglas Community School, also known as Douglas Com, The Com or DCS, is an all-boys community school in Douglas, Cork, Ireland. It was founded as Coláiste Muire by the Presentation Brothers in 1926 as a juniorate (i.e. for lower-cycle secondary students). In 1965 it became a full secondary school. In 1974, it became one of the first "community schools" in Ireland, when it was transferred by the Presentation Brothers to a local board of management. Studio celebrates 4 years of existence. During those years students had performed in several shows: PORT GOT TALENT 2010 & 2012, SHAKEFEST in Tullamore, annual Christmas and end of the year Dancing Jewels Shows. Number of students had visited ballets: CINDERELLA (Ballet of Ireland) (2009), SWAN LAKE(2010) & CINDERELLA (2012) (Russian State Ballet), DANCE CELEBRATION (2011) (Youth Ballet of Ireland), NUTCKRACKER (Ballet of Ireland) (2012). 2013 years production of ballet THUMBELINA was great success. IDTA qualified teacher Sviesa Joha has 20 years of professional dancing (ballet artist-soloist of Klaipeda Musical Theatre, Lithuania; leading roles in ballets: "Snow White & 7 Dwarfs" (Snow White), "Carmina Burana" (The Girl), "The Blue Danube" (Ana) and others) and more then 20 years of teaching experience. Education/courses: Lithuania, Germany, Russia, Ireland.
