Tralee Bay Sailing Club (TBSC) situated in Fenit, Co. Kerry was founded in 1956 by a group of local enthusiasts. From rudimentary beginnings the Club has grown and now boasts a vibrant and expanding membership together with a clubhouse and a sailing school. The setting of the Clubhouse overlooking Tralee Bay near Fenit Harbour provides panoramic views of Tralee Bay from Blennerville Windmill to the Maharees and westward to Brandon Point. It is the combination of this spectacular backdrop together with the protected inshore waters of Tralee Bay, which provides a tremendous venue for competitive sailing events such as National Championships and WIORA. To the seaward of Tralee Bay more vigorous conditions prevail - south to Dingle and West Cork and north to the Shannon Estuary and Galway. In addition to the Sailing School and TBSC clubhouse, with changing rooms, showers, kitchen, storage and licensed bar, the adjacent Fenit Harbour provides a sheltered 110 berth marina with associated facilities. Cruiser racing takes place from March to October on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with a number of Sunday races. Dinghy racing is on Sundays during March, April, September, October, November and on Wednesdays and Saturdays from May to August inclusive. Visitors are always welcome!

The 3 story building has a multi purpose main hall used for concerts, plays, fashion shows, sporting and dancing displays,town meetings, disco's and more. Our administration office is just inside the door. A spacious and welcoming foyer has a staircase to a first floor meeting/training room, which could also be used for parties etc. Our anchor tenant on the ground floor is Cope Foundation. With a lift to all floors the building is accessible for all mobility needs. First floor houses our managers office, staff kitchen, a computer room, a board room, rooms 8 and 9 can be used as a single unit or broken into two spacious meeting rooms for all occasions. With internet access throughout the use of the space is open to all needs. The top floor is about to become a Montessori school with all facilities including its own kitchen. And there is more!!!!!! The Green room looks great on paper and the structure is built. With the right funding it wont be long before this final area will be up and running. The whole building sits on its own vast grounds with an ample car park and further parking available nearby on request. As a structure it has it all.
