Your hosts Tim and Bernadette O’Donoghue have opened up their fabulous property to you. Built in 1780 this magnificent landmark is situated on the banks of the Flesk River, just 1km from the very center of Killarney. We purchased the property in 2002 and immediately invested in the landscaping which is maturing as we speak on about a 1.5 acre site. We have gone to great lengths in restoring the Loft, Coachhouse and Main Priory home taking meticulous measures in mind you keeping authentic old world character and charm to the fore front. While at the same time blending high quality modern conviences for comfort living. An Teach Mor (pronounced on chock-moor) the big house and An Tigin (pronounced on tea-geen) small house are newly built (2006) in a unique manner that blends the old with the new. The Courtyard is the focal point of the property with is gorgeous curving 10’ wall and a unique slate water fountain set in the privacy of huge double arches amid tasty landscaping and flowering planters.
