Ashbourne Playspace Network
Due to the lack of facilities in Ashbourne Co. Meath, concerned parents have come together to set a change in motion. Our first priority is Ashbourne Playground. This is currently the only free outdoor amenity for children in Ashbourne and as we have seen recently, it has crumbled under the pressure of population growth. The playground no longer serves a purpose to our children and has also become a health and safety issue.
A new playground committee fronted by the parents of Ashbourne will work together with the local council, Gardai and area representatives to achieve common goals, to secure a cleaner, safer place for our children to play.
