The Greene Room
Orla Greene and Shaunie Moriarty joined forces and opened up The Greene Room Hair Lounge in Killaloe Co.Clare in April 2008.
Orla, a native of Dublin, has a wealth of experience in the world or hair dressing with over twenty years under her belt .
She has managed some of Dublin's top salons and went on from that to work with one of the worlds biggest hair care companies Wella Professional and became an International Trainer traveling between Ireland and the U.K training salon owners and colourist bring them up to a high level of skill and knowladge in colour.
Orla moved to Limerick in 2003 to open and run one of the first hair accademys in the Munster area before opening up her own salon in killaloe..
Shaunie and Orla meet in Limerick in 2004 and worked side by side both in the academy and on the salon floor, Shaunie has over twelve years experience having worked in some of Limerick's leading salons he is an expert in cutting and up-styling and has worked on the Rose of Tralee a few years in a row in the past and also has a great knowladge of fashion and has worked with some of Ireland's leading fashion houses behind the scenes putting together the over all looks from head to toe for events.
The pair have also had success in the 2005 French Championships in Paris scooping a bronze for the Irish team and have work with Celia Holmen Lee on Ireland AM on several occasions in recent times. Orla and Shaunie continue their work with fashion shows and international competitions as well as their work in the salon .
