The ArtCo Gallery opened in 2008, it aims to give artists from across the North-West an opportunity to showcase and sell their work in a creative setting. The Create-A-Link art programme, set up by the Health Service Executive in Donegal as part of its Worklink North-West project aims to promote the positive role of the arts in health and well being. It also provides an understanding environment for people with mental health problems who are interested in exploring their creativity. Our gallery space allows graduates of the Create-A-Link art programme to exhibit their artwork which benefits them economically and allows people recovering from mental health issues to have greater access to the art world. ArtCo also gives other artists in the community an opportunity to exhibit and showcase their work. Our focus is on original, affordable arts and crafts. We believe that art is for everybody.
