Just an hour drive from Kerry Airport and one and a half hour from Cork International Airport you will find the picturesque town of Kenmare. Its Irish name (Neidin) means as much as little nest. Cradled in the heart of the Kenmare Bay this enchanting place - with its colourful storefronts - offers plenty of shopping opportunities as well as an unrivalled choice of cafés, restaurants and pubs.
Directly located at the "Ring of Kerry", Kenmare is the perfect starting point for exploring the southwest of Ireland. The area is one of the most beautiful and untouched places in the south of Kerry and offers all the amenities of a modern infrastructure. The world-famous "Ring of Kerry" follows the coastline of the Iveragh Peninsula. Along the approximately 175 km long route, you will find picturesque villages, a wealth of historical attractions, sandy bays and beaches.
