Save Crooksling Hospital Brittas
Crooksling Hospital / Nursing Home is in Brittas Co Dublin on the N81 ,13 miles from the G.P.O. This was an old army barracks going back to the second world war, thenit was turned in to a T.B. Hospital in the late 1940s / early 1950s. and then it became a nursing home in the 1950s and still is today. It is HOME to 89 residents one of whom is there in her home 60 YEARS. Now the HS.E. want to remove all these patients from their home and shift them to an unknown enviroment. ,There is an average of 70 nurses , 25 domestics, 20 nurses attendents, 5 Porters, 4 cooks , , 4 Office staff, 1 Gardner , 4 Maintance , 1 Director of Nursing and 1 assistant director of nursing employed at Crooksling . The H.S.E. now want to close this great place even though they have spent 2 MILLION over the last two and a half years on refubishment. WHY ????? So we are protesting aginst this and we want you to LIKE our page please.
