Hopi Candle Therapy:
Also known as Thermo-Auricular therapy is an ancient treatment which has been used in Egypt, China and Tibet.
The process of Hopi candling involves a special hollow “cone like†candle that is placed gently into the ear. The candle is lit and the gentle suction that is formed draws the impurities from the ear. The treatment itself is non-invasive and provides immediate relaxation. The candles are made from special therapeutic ingredients which fill the air and heighten the senses of the client. The session includes treating both ears followed by a face, neck and shoulder massage and energy balancing. The therapist uses a range of different movements including application of deep kneading and compression movements over the neck, shoulder and scalp area aswell as gently stimulate and massage the face, and arms. Releasing the tension in these areas help the body’s energy to flow more freely thus increases health and wellbeing. The experience is deeply relaxing and calming and clients leave feeling energized and revitalized.
