Retained is the name given to Part-Time Firefighters who are on call 24/7 365 days of the year. We are never off call except when on Personal Holidays.
We have 9 of a Crew, 1 Station Officer, 1 Sub-Officer, 1 Driver-Mechanic and 6 Firefighters who have full time jobs in the Town of Bundoran and when a 999/112 call arises, our pagers are activated and we can turn out in less than 5 minutes.
