Busy Beavers Preschool
Busy Beavers was established in September 2000 at Grogan, Ballycumber, Co Offaly with the objective of providing a stimulating, play oriented environment for the pre-school children of the immediate locality. The school operates in partnership with parents and the local community.
Busy Beavers operates the ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) programme for all eligible children and is affiliated to Early Childhood Ireland (formerly IPPA) and Offaly Childcare Committee.
In October 2010 Busy Beaver's new purpose built facility was officially opened by an Taoiseach, Mr. Brian Cowen T.D. The facility currently employs four people, all of whom are from the surrounding areas and are fully qualified. Busy Beavers regularly caters for students seeking work experience.
