Gráinne Mulvey School of Ballet & Modern Dance (previously "Aedeen O' Hagan School of Ballet") provides classes in classical ballet and modern dance for ages 3 upwards. The School offers examinations at graded level in association with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) these are the two main dance societies that are recognised worldwide. All students have the option of taking examinations or having lessons for fun. Students are encouraged to take exams as it provides them with a goal. Working towards examinations improves a pupil technically, artistically resulting in confidence. As well as examinations students perform in our biannual show in the Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny.
