The Foundry Story
The Foundry, Carlow and Ireland’s premier nightclub is taking you to the future of nightclubbing. The Foundry nightclub is opened every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to offer its customers the best nightclub entertainment in the country. It has four major bars and is connected to the Bamboo Bar, The VIP Bar and unrivalled live venue The Tower.
The Foundry has infused vision and innovation to demonstrate a futuristic approach to nightclubbing while still offering the unique Foundry atmosphere.
The iconic Foundry now boasts the largest nightclub video wall in the world spanning more than 120 square metres in size and consisting of more than 500,000 LED’s. It wraps around the entire dancefloor giving Clubbers an experience that they will not have experienced before. This cutting edge technology and lighting is the first of its kind on this scale in Europe.
The Club is equipped with a Turbosound sound system and finishes of the highest quality. The refurbishment demonstrates the Club commitment to its customers not to accept the mundane. The Foundry continues to lead the way in all aspects of the nightclub industry as it has done since it opened.
The Foundry’s play list includes the very best in commercial music and caters to everyone’s needs. The nightclub has 5 resident D.Js including D.J Michael Byrne, Today FM’s D.J Bob Conway, D.J Matt Givens, D.J Mark Collins and D.J Gerry Cormicken. It has also hosted National D.Js Ray Shah, Mr. Spring and Nicky Hayes.
The Foundry Nightclub is also a proud member of the Irish Nightclub Industry Association and is the first nightclub in Ireland to be awarded the Irish Nightclub Industry Association’s prestigious NightSafe award for best practice regarding nightclubs’ fire safety, security management, noise and crowd control, and responsible serving of alcohol
