Bru Bar is an ideal way to relax and unwind after a day of hard traveling, after exploring the sights and sounds of Cork and its surroundings or merely a hard days work.
Bru Bar dates back to the late 1700's and the original stone wall is still visible behind the bar itself. Nobody can really claim to have experienced Irish culture until they sample a pint of the black stuff, be it Guinness, or Cork's own superior Murphy's Irish Stout and Beamish's Irish Stout, so make our bar a part of your travel memories. Guests of Bru Hostel can also take advantage of our residents bar that carries on late into the night.
We have a range of Premium bottled beer from around the world to compliment the 14 different beers on tap, so you'll need a bit of time, not to mention stamina!
We have a traditional Italian Coffee Machine too which puts out a great cup of Segafredo's Buono coffee.
The ambience is rounded off with an open fire, live music, BBQ's, big screens for the matches, pool table, Juke box, a warm welcome and loads of drink specials and prices, which are amongst Cork's most competitive!
