Baltinglass Credit Union was established on 4th June 1974 in the Fatima Hall,for the purpose of providing the people of Baltinglass with financial security and independence. The next milestone was reached in 1980 when a house was purchased in Weaver Square. The credit union continued to grow from strength to strength. In 1993 a house was purchased on Main Street which was renovated and extended, where the present offices are today.
